Plates, sketches, sketches and illustrations combine with descriptive texts and essays by critics, curators and journalists, giving life to a multifaceted universe that combines play and irreverence, irony and poetry. The illustrations and critical contributions collected in the volume sketch the portrait of a complex and difficult to define figure, who moves on different levels of reading, a disruptive creativity that crosses every literary genre: from historical to children's literature, from western to detective fiction, from science fiction to crime fiction, up to noir.
