The Enrico Del Debbio archive in the MAXXI Architecture collections. The inventory

The Enrico Del Debbio archive, part of the MAXXI Collection , is the central element of this volume: a rich and multifaceted heritage composed of drawings, writings and documents of various kinds which reveal the artistic training of the Architect starting from 1909 and which tells of his professional, academic and cultural activity up to 1973, year of his passing . The book is composed of some unpublished contributions including autobiographical notes by Del Debbio himself, a memory of his daughter Gigliola and critical texts by various authors that focus mainly on the two Roman projects that most engaged the Architect during his career: the Foro Italico and the Faculty of Architecture. Sketches, drawings by the author and historical photos accompany the various contributions offering a broad and detailed vision of Del Debbio's human and professional journey.
