Mario Botta. Sacro e profano

This volume, seventh in the Nature series edited by Margherita Guccione, was planned and designed completely by Mario Botta and recounts the architect’s thought and long professional development by means of some of his most important works. Exploring the great themes of the sacred and profane, the book presents in detail eleven projects realized by Botta from the 1980s to today and looks at the figures who have influenced his production and career. Copious illustrations accompany the architect’s reflections, along with those of major personalities on the Italian academic and cultural scene. An anthology of his work and an ample bibliography complete the volume.
