“You will be struck by the sensuality.” These are the opening words of the story by the writer Mauro Covacich about MAXXI, published here for the first time, to accompany visitors through the museum, retracing the history of the building, the architectural context in which it is inserted, its collections, and the services provided to the public. The narrative finds its ideal complement in the rich selection of images illustrating the volume: views of the building’s exterior alternate with images of installations and professional photos documenting the MAXXI collection.
