Dettagli prodotto
The catalogue is conceived as an atlas, a volume rich in texts, images and interviews that narrates and develops the themes presented in the exhibition, promoting new critical insights into contemporary fashion. Texts by professors, journalists, curators, writers, researchers and fashion directors intertwine with images of fashion shows, magazine covers and views of installations, giving life to an evolving narrative that makes the fashion experience "memorable".
Of particular interest is the section dedicated to visions, a sequence of images taken from digital platforms and devices whose syncopated and fragmented editing alludes to the continuous scrolling of cell phones.
In close dialogue with the visual atlas is the section dedicated to the "voices" that tells the story of the experimentation of independent magazines, a selection of international magazines dedicated to contemporary fashion whose pages are reproduced in their entirety in this volume
