Details
The book analyses designs by Michele De Lucchi, with particular attention to “L’Anello Mancante,” the installation on view at MAXXI, conceived by the artist as an object that represents the “void between space and objects, between design and architecture.” Besides the work on display, the catalog documents other architectural projects by De Lucchi: from the Ponte della Pace to the Padiglione Zero, the Cappella di San Giacomo, Il Tronco in Pforzheim, and the Unicredit Pavilion in Milan. Images, captions, technical information, essays, and an interview never published before complete this volume, reconstructing a complete overview of De Lucchi’s work.
